Sample text for demonstration only. The company's legal or compliance team must replace it with approved wording before launch.
1. About these terms
These sample terms apply to the services on this website: ADLD (accidental and liquid damage), Screen Protect and Extended Warranty, offered by [registered company name]. The service documents prevail over this page.
2. Eligibility
- The device must be a smartphone [eligible brands and models to be confirmed].
- For ADLD, the device must be within 30 days of its purchase date when the service is requested.
- Valid proof of purchase showing the purchase date must be provided and is verified by our team.
3. What is covered
ADLD covers repair or replacement after accidental or liquid damage. Screen Protect covers cracked or broken screens. Extended Warranty covers faults that arise after the manufacturer's warranty ends. Exact benefits and limits are in the service wording.
4. What is not covered
- Theft or loss.
- Intentional damage.
- Cosmetic wear and tear with no loss of function.
- Devices with a removed or altered IMEI number.
- Wear and tear from normal use.
- Damage that existed before the service started.
- Accessories such as chargers, cases and screen guards.
- Repairs made by anyone we have not authorised.
- Loss of data stored on the device.
- Damage outside the service term.
- [Further exclusions to be added from the policy wording.]
5. Claims
To claim, contact us with your service details and a description of what happened. We may ask for photos, proof of purchase and the device for inspection. Claims are assessed against the service terms, and making a claim does not guarantee that it will be accepted.
6. Limits and excess
Each service limits the number and value of claims per year. [Claim limits, excess and waiting periods to be added.]
7. Cancellation and refunds
[Cooling-off period, cancellation rights and refund rules to be added.]
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for data stored on a device. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may update this page. A service you have bought is governed by the terms in force when you bought it.
10. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai have jurisdiction. For complaints, write to hello@fikarless.example. [Grievance officer details to be added.]
